I had the best time. It was a one night season, in a new town, a new venue – a new kind of venue for this show. Some of the staff at the college promised to come, lots of my students insisted they were coming, but when I moved into position on the couch under the rug for the preset I was expecting around 30 in the audience. But they came. And not just the students, some of the locals came along too. They laughed, they listened, they joined in, they applauded. And today I received a wonderful response from a member of the audience. Here it is:
Never having seen Flloyd Kennedy perform before, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was not disappointed. She was amazing and I laughed so much, as she is a master of comedy. She also has a good singing voice accompanied by her ukulele and everyone could relate to her songs. Flloyd has a unique talent in getting the audience to participate on her journey and it was a delight from start to finish.
Next stop, Liverpool.
