Where Do We Go From Here?

Francesca Anderson, Claudio Carta, Lucy Ford and Camilla Watson worked their metaphorical sock off, juggling a large text and seven different coloured scarfs with the passionate beliefs and powerful intellects of the characters. The story was told, again, for a new and, for the most part, deeply appreciative audience.

The use of the scarves helped, but we could probably have stayed with it even without them. We knew, liked and cared about the characters enough that I feel we would have tracked them.

Thank you for an enjoyable (and thought-provoking) evening[/x_blockquote][cs_text]That was typical of the responses we received from our audience after the performance of the staged reading of FRACTIONS, by Marcel Dorney, on Tuesday 14th February, at Bread & Roses Theatre in South Clapham.[/cs_text][x_image type=”none” src=”http://176.74.19.166/~thunders/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/IMG_0395.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][cs_text]I want to acknowledge a deep debt of gratitude to Marcel for allowing us to play with this beautiful script, and to the Bread & Roses Theatre for providing the space.

Now, the dream is to raise the funds to stage a full production, so that we can take it to an even wider audience. As audience members commented after the show, this is about who we are now, gives us something to think about. And if there is anything we need more of at this moment in history, it is Thinking with a Capital T.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
